MOTC Awards Banquet
This year’s Awards Banquet will be held Sunday, February 25, 2024, at the Clubhouse (time to be announced). Mary Janek will again be taking the information to Botkins Trophies in Selma. Mary needs all your information by December 31, 2023. Use the link below to send that information to Mary.
If this is the first award recognition your dog has received, Mary will also need a picture of your dog (you can upload the picture to the form).
If you have more than one dog earning titles in 2023, please submit the form once for each dog. Do NOT combine dogs on one form submission.
If you are bringing in a plaque to have titles added, be sure to print the submission email you will receive from MOTCwebmail@gmail.com (you may need to check your SPAM folder) and tape it to the plaque.
We can’t wait to see all you and your dog have accomplished this year!!

Clicker Class/Seminar Information
Class Details
**This class is being updated and will be offered as a Seminar 2-3 times a year, depending on interest, instead of being a 6-week class.**
Clicker training uses the science of behavior analysis to teach your dog. It’s easy to use, easy to learn, and dogs learn this method quickly. MOTC will supply each dog/handler team with a clicker.
Saturdays: 3 – 4pm
Class dates are listed on the registration form.
Requirements:
- 6 Week Course (1 hour sessions)
- Public $90/MOTC Members $54 (There is a $3 service fee for credit cards.)
- 4-6 ft fabric or leather, non-retractable, leash
- LOTS of small, soft treats
- a container for treats, such as a fanny pack or bait bag can be helpful

- How to train with clicker training
- How to capture behaviors
- How to use targets
- How to shape behaviors
- How to use a lure
- How to build on foundation behaviors
Dog will learn. . .
- Basic foundation skills: sit, down, come, stay, walking on leash
